Kelowna-Lake Country-Coldstream

Tara Armstrong is the MLA for Kelowna–Lake Country–Coldstream.

Armstrong began her career in the aviation industry, including three years in Dubai where she had the privilege of working for Emirates Airline and living abroad. Upon returning to Canada in 2006, she joined her family’s franchise business, which specialized in providing services to seniors and individuals with disabilities. The business expanded across multiple provinces and was featured on CBC’s Dragons’ Den in 2018. Armstrong played a key role in negotiating the company’s sale in 2021 and remained on as president during the transition period. 

Armstrong resides in Kelowna with her husband. Her two young adult children live independently. The family’s Wheaten Terrier still enjoys a central place at home.
