Salmon Arm-Shuswap

David Williams is the MLA for Salmon Arm-Shuswap and the Official Opposition Critic for BC Hydro and Electricity Self-Sufficiency. He was first elected in 2024.

David began his career in the HVAC industry in roles that ranged from commercial project management to small business ownership. His career path later shifted to the fields of residential and commercial real estate with roles in the B.C. Assessment Authority and as a Regional Appraiser with the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Authority. Prior to being elected, he was a Loss Control Specialist/Residential Appraiser in the insurance industry.

David is a father, grandfather and husband who is a proud, dedicated resident of the Shuswap region.
